Katie Pokorski is a familiar face at Taylors. Katie has been with the company since 1993 when she was hired as a data entry specialist. She worked her way to Showroom Manager, then Operations Manager, and in March 2007 was promoted to Vice President.
Her responsibilities have been day-to-day management of the company, including technology, personnel, sales, and marketing. As Vice President, Katie’s responsibilities have grown to more vendor and outside sales rep relations.
Katie is an active member of the Dallas Market Center (DMC) Design Floor Marketing Committee and has been on the DMC Total Home Task Force and a member of WithIt, a leadership development community, brain trust, and learning space. She also has taken the industry involvement vision of the company by serving on the ART… The Creative Home Furnishings Network National Conference Committee. Katie has spearheaded Taylors involvement with American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), of which Taylors is an industry partner.
